About Dr Brian Harrisberg

Dr Harrisberg is currently the Head of Ophthalmology at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and is a clinical educator at Sydney University.  Dr Harrisberg graduated from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg and has extensive experience in all aspects of ophthalmology.

 

He has given many lectures, authored and co-authored clinical papers and been an invited speaker both locally and internationally.  He has strong commitment to his patients with particular emphasis on visual outcomes.

 

Dr Harrisberg takes a conservative approach to refractive surgery and will match the correct procedure to a patient’s needs and eye condition.

 

Dr Harrisberg also has extensive experience in treating cataract, diabetic eye disease and glaucoma.
